Interested in an art and cultural vacation but unsure where to go? Or do you have a city or country in mind but want help in planning your trip?
QUICK CULTURE is here to help you design the perfect itinerary. Not only will we organize a special art and cultural trip that will include meeting emerging new artists and discovering the lesser known but wonderful art galleries and art museums, but we will also recommend must-see places of cultural and historical interest. Plus, we will recommend accommodations and restaurants that range from famous to off-the-beaten track to kid-friendly.
Our goal when designing an itinerary is not just to provide a sightseeing trip. We meticulously research expert guides and creative professionals that know how to capture the flavor of the area and its people in a non-touristy way. To achieve this, we select skilled local guides who include the famous, important sights alongside the fascinating, hidden little-known places. By doing this, they personalize “their city” which gives us a more meaningful and deeper understanding of its soul. The most important thing to us is that all the participants enjoy themselves and that they don’t go back home with a numbed feeling caused by having a bunch of forgettable statistics, facts and dates lectured to or at them. With our trips, our aim is that all your senses will be involved and enriched by the people we meet, the cuisine we savor and the impressions we experience. We also enjoy surprising my groups with unexpected special extras---planned as well as spontaneous!
Ellen and Charlotte have traveled to over 65 countries seeking out the most interesting places to visit. You're not one of the crowd with us, but a unique individual with specific needs. Our attention to detail will help you plan the trip you expect and deserve. Whether you're a "traveler" or a "vacationer," let us demonstrate our commitment to provide the best possible service to you.
Working with QUICK CULTURE means that you will receive the benefit of our shared knowledge of the art and culture of your destination. We also provide tips and reviews you can trust derived from our personal experiences. We are unbiased and receive no remuneration from any of our recommendations. QUICK CULTURE provides names, addresses (email and /or snail) and phone numbers of hotels, museums, art galleries, artists, restaurants and private tour guides as part of the service. |

Testimonials:
“…The Painting in Provence trip with Ellen Greenberg far surpassed my expectations. Having no artistic skills whatsoever, I was quickly put at ease by the instructor Ellen had hired. Ellen has a knack for putting together the appropriate professionals which enhance the experience tremendously. For me this was a once in a lifetime excursion, perfectly executed down to the last detail. The memories and the friendships I made will stay with me always…” ~ Donna, Santa Monica, CA~
“The trip to Bonnieux was a well balanced combination of art lessons, sightseeing, food, wine tastings, shopping (of course) and so much more!!! Ellen created an exciting itinerary; well-paced and the selection of points of interest included many non-touristy stops. The small group size provided an ease of daily structure---with even some free time. Ellen's selection of lodging (unbelievably lovely), tour guide (informative and chic), restaurants (I ate it all), sites (we saw a lot), instructor (great even for a novice like me) and more was the BEST!! The trip gets 5 STARS. The fabulous memories linger on!!” ~Judy Cooper, Pennsylvania~
“…The trip met my every expectation and allowed us to experience the true charm of Provence. The small towns, the cozy inn, the beautiful countryside, the colorful markets, the delicious food and wine, the friendly people--every aspect of the area was made available to us because of careful and thorough planning. Our local guide Laurence was a special treat; her expertise and enthusiasm added to our appreciation and enjoyment of this truly fascinating part of France…” ~ Holly R., Westwood, Los Angeles, CA~
“…It was all wonderful. I think just being in Bonnieux was like being in a Fairy Tale, such a charming and walkable village. It felt like we were going home each time we returned from our day’s outing. The food, the wine, the people and of course visiting the places where Van Gogh and Cezanne painted their masterpieces, and seeing the actual subjects of their paintings were highlights of the trip…” ~T. Freed, Bala-Cynwyd, Pennsylvania~
“I will never forget the week I spent in Provence. The accommodations, the activities, the sites, the cuisine, the wine, the people I encountered (particularly the wonderful women in the group and our fabulous guide, Laurence)...everything was par excellence. The art experience was amazing thanks to the talent and patience of our teacher, Bill. All of this was made possible by Ellen's immaculate taste, her precise planning and her meticulous attention to detail. Merci beaucoup!” ~ Jackie Lang, Los Angeles |
